    Chilly day that began with snow (short lived), and has had an African wind blowing all day.

    Temperature on my new gizmo says 3.5ºC (38.3ºf for Armandii), and falling. Indoor temp showing a pleasant 22ºC and holding steady.

      I wish! I can't on a 'school night' - up early, and an absolute zero tolerance level on breath tests at work. Temperature outdoors now 2.9ºC and falling (sensor located in the shelter of a wee alley way between the house and the outhouse, so would probably be a degree or so less out in the open).

          We are quite mild at the moment, our high being 14,5c, currently 13c and lows only a few less, but that's cold to us. It does snow up north here.

          My mum rang at 9am this morning to let me know they had snow in Essex. Here it's been a beautiful day but really cold. My fingers were numb having been out with the camera. 4C and -1C now at 9.25pm.

          Minus 3C just now and ground has been frozen for the past few days. Son flies home tonight from Virgin Islands where it's been in the low 30s - boy is he going to feel cool!

          Temperature topped 7 degrees yesterday and it was dry and sunny all day.....last night it remained clear and the temperature plummeted pretty quickly. Currently we've got a rather chilly -5.4 degrees (22f) :hate-shocked:.....our coldest night this winter so far and no doubt it'll drop a touch more towards sunrise...bbrrrrrrrrrr :biggrin:

          Grey skies with the Sun trying to shine through this morning but it was no more than a misty globe. The pond has frozen over for the first time this Winter so I've switched on the pond heater to clear a hole. The temperature is 33f.:coffee:

          Another day with a proper African wind, and rain is on the way apparently; Outside temp is currently at 4.5ºC, but I expect it will be much colder by the morning even with the rain.
