A lovely day yesterday with a light breeze, plenty of blue sky and the temperature reached a 'mild' 9.8 degrees...

It may have been mild yesterday but the temperature fell away during the night and its currently 0.2 degrees here.....

Went for a walk around Shakely Mere today to enjoy the sunshine. The temperature was not brilliant, in the mid 40f's, but it felt fresh but not cold so it turned out to be a really nice walk. Right now the temperature 39f.:coffee:

Very bright sunlight this morning after a dull start. Everything looks intensely coloured. A lovely morning indeed,

It's a great place for a walk and taking pics as you know, Bilbo, and I got one or two reasonable shots of the birds which I might post tonight. It's the only place where my life long friend, who never knows when to stop fishing, and I got blown off the Mere while fishing. It was Artic cold and waves comparable with the Atlantic and a razor sharp wind. Since he was the first to call it a day I remind him of it every now and then:heehee:

pouring with rain, roads are swashing around in water (well they may as well be).. currently 5.7C (42F)

      Minimum today: 4.1C (39F)

Actually I post on a new zealand weather forum, and they can't get over how small our diurnal range is in winter!

Tonight it is very very cold so I've switched the thermostat up - using the money the goverment gave me for heating.
