What's Your Weather Like...? MK5...

All ok , the water came about 3 feet into the garden through the fence , I did open the gate to have a look it was really weird as the river just flowed past , but most of the fields where I live are all flooded, so glad the Council blocked planning permission for more houses next to the river about 1/2 mile away from me because they woudnt be having a merry Christmas thats for sure .

Sunny start, now grey but dry so far.

 

Wall to wall grey all day but no rain. And, the patio has dried up !!

Cold and damp but no rain - was going outside to sweep the patio but decided it was too cold, would sooner stay indoors and play in the Corner.

 

I had to google it myself!

 

A dry day today, temperature up to 12.6 degrees today, not quite as mild as yesterday. All the rain over the last few days has taken its toll though, the Trent and Trent & Mersey Canal about a mile from us have continued to rise and they'd already spilled on to a main road yesterday.

Back in Cheshire the River Weaver has burst its banks in Northwich at its confluence with the River Dane, further upstream the River Dane is in the fields at Rudheath..!!!

 

We've had a dry and mainly cloudy day today so it's given all the flooding a chance to retreat. 11C. It's not looking good for this coming week though.

 

Hey we saw the Sun for the first time in about twelve days, and the rain has gone, Just very very windy now
So all day today Sunny, no rain, strong winds
