Wasn't Michael Fish that said it, was it?

See, I like snow to look at, but don't really want it as it creates mayhem for me at work.

T'other half loves and misses snow ... but sadly he has to put up with blue skies and sunshine but with day temps quite low here at 14c and nights at 9c and he stokes up the log fire as he finds it cold! He has the 'new' heater (a/c in the summer) on in the bedroom for two hours at night and his electric blanket on low most of the night ... I am sweltering (thankfully dual controls) and long past the menopause I can assure you, some 15 years! :hate-shocked:

Apart from the occasional dry interlude and a fleeting glance of blue sky and that thing we used to call the sun :heehee: the weather here has been WET, WET, WET.....day in day out, hour after hour of rain, rain and more rain......!!!

Certainly the wettest and one of the mildest Christmas periods I can ever remember; we've had a great time inside the house, enjoying the festivities but step outside and it doesn't feel a bit like Christmas with this weather, even some hard frost would have been better than this lot......ah well I'll go and grab another cuppa :coffee:, at least I know my tender plants have a great chance of getting through the winter if this mild weather continues for another 2-3 months..:snork: but something tells me we may well get a nice cold spell before the winter is done with us...:)

Raining here as well...feel so sorry for our wild animals. So many must have given up by now. I hope there will be some who are strong enough to survive all this and can go on to reproduce,

Seen it on the news in the US,.... they said it moved on, up into Canada.
Somehow they dont mention snow in Canada on our news, I guess its kind of expected.:)

And another storm coming later, not sure if that will reach you?
