    Been snowing for a few hours and even the main roads have a covering. Struggled to get in drive.

    Our allotment meal over looked a lake, with the snow falling it looked wonderful.

      Just in case anyone doesn't know of the site raintoday shows the actual precipitation radar approximately 15-30 mins behind realtime, and watching how the cloud pattern is moving may give some idea of what is coming your way.

        Still waiting for the forecast snow here, apparently its snowing in Leicester and even 1 mile down the road but nothing here yet!!?? :doh: :dunno: :snork:

        My sister has just phoned me to say that it's been snowing all day in Wem, Shropshire but has just stopped. So maybe the snow has gone more south and West than forcecast.:dunno: :coffee:

        I am just south of leicester and it has snowed all day. Came down heavy 1.00 to 3.00pm think we have had around 3".

              Well we didn't get several inches of snow through the night as forecast but we've had enough to cover everything again and make it look 'pretty' :snork: and we still have light snow falling now. The temperature is currently -0.9

                No snow this morning but it's very thick on the ground. It's -4C at the moment and will be sub zero all day but I don't expect any more snow.

                Since I posted nearly an hour ago the fluffy stuff has come down very heavy (now eased off again) and left a couple of inches of lovely crunchy snow on the ground :dancy: :snork:
