It's been at the 34f all day, but it's 33f now. It tried to snow at around 1pm but stopped after five minutes so it's been a cold dry day.:coffee:

What a dreadful day! The rain has been lashing down and a real hooley blowing. We still have snow on the high ground but with the thaw and the rain, roads are beginning to flood again. The temperature has risen from 2 to 3C this morning and now stands at 5C.

We've got about an additional inch of snow but it's not even snowing now so I don't know if that's all we're getting for tonight. The temperature has dropped to 31f.:coffee:

I don't normally resort to whinging about the weather because I'm an on owner of a working type dog, and I should bloody well get on with it...That said, it was rubbish today! My Mum and I walked one of the dogs from the rescue centre plus my 'Nut'Meg. The wind was soooo cold, it felt like it was stripping your skin off your bones. Got home just in time for very heavy snow fall, has been going for hours now, not looking forward to tomorrow especially as the council haven't gritted the road, which is a bus route ?!

Terrible weather here last night , what the news described as a snowstorm hit us about 4pm . As a walk to the pub was a no no , I nipped out for a takeaway at 5.30pm and the roads were very difficult then . I had to leave my car in the next street as I could not get up our hill. The M6 near us was closed at midnight and drivers taken to the service station. Thaw today hopefully !
