That torrential rain reached me, too much for our guttering to cope with. Gone quiet for the moment.

Snow out, wet in. Last night's heavy rain has stopped. Very mild at 52F and fairly strong winds.

A clear morning after the torrential rain last night.
The difference is unreal from nearly 9 inches of snow on the floor this time yesterday to only a few snow pile.
Currently 7.5c yes 7.5 :snork: outside
Best get me shorts on and get in garden :snork:

Hi Spruce,No hail but did look twice as thought it was sleety, must have been the edge of your storm.

I'm baffled as we here in Cheshire had very little rain during the night although the temperature rose and thawed out nearly all of the snow, and yet everyone else seems to have had heavy rain, thunder and lightning:scratch: :dunno: :snork: The wind has picked up from the West and is now a strong cold breeze, but that's about it. The temperature has shot up to 45f..........the highest in weeks.:coffee:
