We had torrential rain and high winds here yesterday evening, typical, as I had to go out. On the way home at 1am my car thermometer was reading 9C, almost tropical! :heehee:

Today has been bright but mainly cloudy so far and we're now battening down the hatches for 48 hours of nasty gales that are starting to pick up, back to hibernation again! 7C.

Snow yesterday - torrential rain overnight - snow all gone this morning - sun this afternoon - there's hardly any room in my car, umbrellas wellingtons, various coats for all weathers, think I'd better throw in a bottle of suncream as well.

A very windy day initially yesterday, strong enough to blow our boys' trampoline over and blow my bird feeding station over which was screwed into a wall, it snapped the upright post!! Thankfully the wind died down through out the day.

It was on the whole on a dry day with the top temperature a very mild 13.3 degrees although it felt quite cold in the wind. The temperature did crash after dark under clear skies; down to -1, it is currently +1.2 degrees..

Its been raining most of the night here in france "but" the suns trying to shine and im getting my pride and joy out (she's a bit of class) and we're off to the vets for some worm tabs, and then im going to clean the outside of the greenhouse to remove the white sun shade off and check over the structure etc,
its only about 8 weeks and it'll be time to use the greenhouse again with a little night heat.

Hoping no more rain - River Welland is rising quickly and they can't open the gates for another hour. Hoping if it gets any worse they'll let the banks go at Cowbit Wash. Good job we've got the Coronation Channel or I'd be sitting here with wet feet.

I love the River Welland, GA, as I used to fish it on the West side of Stamford while stationed in Rutland, and in fact I still fish it when on a annual fishing trip to that area.......paradise!!.:snork:

Cold, wet and windy in Manchester during the day and now, back home, it's cold, wet and windy.;) The temperature is 47f, but it doesn't feel mild at all.:dunno: :coffee:

Amandii, yesterday the fisherman were out in force along the banks. I only live with one street between me at the river so hoping they open those gates pretty quick
