8 Degrees blowing a gale but it's stopped raining

 

It's been raining and cold and very breezy here in Manchester today. We seem to get the finer weather during the night. Dosn't seem quite fair some how.

 

6 degrees...dry and still....calm before the storm i think.....forecast is for gales,heavy rain and risk of flooding around lunch time

 

Started raining lunchtime yesterday, and hasn`t stopped since, "Orrid" day

 

Absolute PITS here too but the car thermometer said 51f this morning ( 11am) it's wild wet and windy. Thank the Lord in Heaven that you lot are here ; stay dry and safe,

It's bi-lingual Ziggy but us olduns only understand Farenheight,

 

Well its been one of those very fine mist type of rain most of the day, the sort that really soaking you before you know it,
Even the dogs didnt fancy spending to much time outside.
On our walk this morning the cows from their side of the fence followed us as we walked along the track and after we visited the small river and returned on our way home passed the same field the cows turned round and again kept in line with us.
They really are a nice friendly animal,
So cute with their big eyes and mum near by to keep them from harm.

 

balmy (or should that be palmy?) old day here.. top temperature 14.2C (57F)

 

Sub tropical here today reached 13'c even with the wind!

 

Reached a crazy 14.8 degrees here yesterday (more than double the average for the time of year) and with no wind it felt really mild and to think this time last week it was struggling to get above freezing!!

Currently 9.8 degrees and dry..
