Bright and cold in West Cheshire, although it's now starting to cloud over. The Garden Weather Station is recording 44f at the moment but the strong breeze that's been present all night and day makes it feel a lot colder.:coffee:

10ºC (50ºf) according to my outdoor sensor, however it certainly does not feel anything like that when you are out there thanks to the African wind that is blowing.

Been quite a bright day, but very blustery winds, and now it is starting to cloud over.

As it's an Atlantic flow, it should result in melting snow rather than snow that sticks around for days on end, the temperatures should be around 2-3C (34-37F) so snow will not settle on roads unless it is very heavy. I wouldn't worry too much.

Apart from when a severe cold spell is coming, then I collapse into a panicking wreck and start bracing backwards and forwards in the recovery position. :snork:

Wet heavy snow most of the day which melted on touching the ground
Then at 17:00 it got dark, the wet ground froze
The snow is back on very heavy, about 3cm deep at the moment 1c chill factor -8c

A mixture of cloud and sunshine today with the usual gale thrown in, 5C. Drove home over the mountain at 7.30pm (0C) in a blizzard, so it's likely to be white up there again tomorrow.
