The weather forecast went wrong for here today - but you won't hear me complaining, instead of the promised snow it's a lovely warm spring day. There's hope in sight at last.

To be fair, it had stopped by 11am and then the sun came out - in between showers. 52f this afternoon in the car! Got the window open and can hear birds in the garden. Had forgotten what they sound like,

Almost Springlike today, with blue skies, fluffy white clouds and some warmth in the Sun. So I took advantage of it all and sat out in the garden in the Arbour and just enjoyed the day!! The temperature is now 37f, and the forecast is for more mild, sunny days including the weekend.:coffee:

A nice dry day today, but not as Springlike or warm as yesterday. There was more cloud in the sky and while there was no breeze it definitely felt a bit cooler. The highest temperature was 49f.:coffee:

It's when it's raining and sunny at the same time. It's a common phrase in South Africa and there are similar ones in many parts of the world. In Bangladesh and some of the eastern seaboard of India it's the same and also in Burma. In the major parts of India it's usually a 'Jackal's Wedding' and in a lot of Eastern European countries they tend to refer to a women and the devil in various ways!

Friday it hovered around 47F but felt quite cold whereas yesterday it didn't top 46.6F and felt nice and warm! When I went out a couple of hours ago it was 39.1F

I think I'll wait until later this morning before I venture into the garden.
