I think that this February was the dullest, most sunless one that I can recall in the South East,

The cold doesn't particularly bother me it's the incessant rain and grey skies that has worn very thin....:frown: ....it's still early days but hoping for some blue sky any time soon:dbgrtmb:

I take the weather as it comes - but I don't have to work in it all day :)

There's always something that can be done in our garden and I can pop out there in between cuppas. :blue thumb:

We always have a good measure of how soggy the ground is because when it gets too saturated (we're on heavy clay with underlying chalk) our drains to our cesspool back up.

I'm hoping that it warms up a bit so that I can get the patio pressure hosed. It does seem to have got a lot dirtier this winter.

Today it's a bit frosty but dry.

Still dull and overcast. Still cold. Still a nagging northerly wind. :gaah:
But at least it's still dry.

5 degrees, and cloudy yet again.
Not seen proper sunshine for over a week now.

So, after staying overcast and cold all day, about half an hour before sunset the clouds begin to part and the sky clears completely. I love it when that happens. :gaah:

So now of course, temperatures are dropping like a stone. A couple of hours ago it was about 5°C, it's now below freezing and falling.

Yes, the same here, Pam, a nice bright Spring like day...........but cold!!!! There was very little breeze so I can't blame that for the day feeling so cold. They forecast more cloud tomorrow and the next week with some rain towards the weekend. Well, at least it is officially Spring.:dunno: :snork:

A fantastic spring day today, wall to wall sunshine all day and no breeze, still chilly in the shade but feeling amazingly warm in the sun even though the thermometer said it was just 9 degrees, quite comfortable with a t-shirt on while doing some work in the garden :dbgrtmb:
