Dry, grey and a steady wind . Not very inviting out there.
5.5C . I can hear a woodpecker drilling and Camellia "Cornish Snow" is breaking a bud open so Spring is just around the corner,
        are we nearly there yet?

Nearly but not quite, It`s the Cheltenham Horse Racing festival next week, back before the late 90s when a 3 day festival, it was always being frozen off, since they improved the drainage it mostly takes place,it is a multi million pound business, but I always benchmark it for freezing weather.

Same, except we've had a bit of snow. Not enough to settle though.

Same here Mowgley. This was our garden first thing this morning, half an inch or so of slushy wet snow. Temperature all day has hovered between 0 and 1°C.

Typical March really, this was the same scene at dawn on Tuesday. A clear, frosty start, the prelude to a beautiful day of constant sunshine and temperatures touching 14°C.
