Snowing steadily - big flakes and starting to stick. Bitterly cold wind.

Well the day started bright and sunny, but very chilly, still too cold to do anything outside.
P.M. was still bright and a little warmer, so OH ventured out to turn over some soil, and B....R me, it started to snow, so he came back in very quickly.!

Very chilly now, so can expect a cold night,oh, I wish the weather would warm up!:frown:

The weather has been like a sandwich today - snow with really welcome sun in between - and it's been on and off like that all day. The snow was like little tiny snow balls - odd! Now it is just very very cold - when is it going to change - dreading the gas bill arriving!!!!!!!!!!!

Raining at 8 am for a few minutes, passed over, intermittent sunshine, walked to local shop 5 pm and a few flakes of snow about, so still got cold air temps, what I have noticed is my solar lights are coming on, so enough sunlight to charge them for a few hours lights, I was going to get them all in and charge the batteries up.

A much better day yesterday, lighter winds and a hint of warmth in the sun, but it was still very chilly when you were out of the sun.

However with the clear skies the temperature has plummeted over night and we have a hard frost this morning, currently -4.7 degrees :snork:, thought we'd done with these harder frosts.

The forecast isn't too encouraging either as we approach Spring, warming slightly over the weekend but with a 60% chance of snow forecast for Monday as it gets colder again!!!
