Snow stopped, sun came out for a bit, then it rained but it's still blinkin' cold!

Lovely afternoon here down at the river, completely blue skies and about 15-16c ... ate lunch outside, lovely in the sun but cool in the shade. Home now and the log fire lit ... :dbgrtmb:

Well, it's never been warm today despite starting off quite sunny with puffy white clouds and blue skies. There was very little wind and it stay dry until late afternoon when we had a very light shower. The temperature is now 37f.:coffee: :snork:

How heartless some people are on this thread Ziggy. I was so sad to read about your poor wilted cabbage. Has it perked up again now?

I've told Ziggy to feed his wilted cabbage with some of the Blue Pills, Jenny. That should do the trick and "straighten" things out.:hate-shocked: :heehee:

Very wild and windy . The lid of the mini GH blew open at 5.33am this morning so a trip to the patio was in order. Steady rain and grey still.
            Also getting fed up,
            Jenny

Just wish spring would get a move on.
Looked at forecast for next week and guess what more snow showers from Wednesday onwards. Oh great!

              Ditto.
Can't remember the last time we had a weekend which wasn't either wet or freezing.
Got quite a backlog of jobs to do in the garden now, looks like I'm going to be busy over the Easter weekend this year (assuming it doesn't rain/snow/freeze for the whole four days).

You took the words out of my mouth Trunky, I have some serious landscaping work to be done which can't be done until I've built the raised beds and moved a tone of soil. I have so many plants / seeds waiting for the hard landscaping to be done! Getting very despondent now

Same here! Have done nothing in the garden all week.It is wet and windy here atm. I am off in two weeks time for a few days and really hope the weather is better by then so I can do some catching up. I have plants in the conservatory which should have gone outside, and they are growing like mad. Each time I put them out, the weather turns arctic again so have to bring them back in.Soo peed of now:wallbanging:
