No, Jenny, not those kind of blue pills.:nonofinger: :heehee:

It was almost Spring like every now and then during today. Bright sunshine, blue skies and then that being blotted out by dark grey clouds for a while and then back to sunshine. There was little breeze so the temperature stayed up enough to describe the air as fresh......not bad at all. The temperature is now 37f.:coffee:

we had beautiful sunshine this morning, my mum & i even sat out on the swing at the end of the garden for an hour or so just soaking it up...i was even able to mow the grass for the first time YAY! once the sun went in it got a bit blustery and chilly so we headed in, barely in the door & hail stones lashed down! crazy weather:scratch:

Just dreich here - grey, damp, cool and not even much in the way of a breeze. I really hope that this comes to an end shortly, don't think I could stand another non-summer.

Mr Kandy told me it was going to be dry and sunny today.Guess who got it wrong....:snork: We have heavy snow falling here as i type this post and all the fresh bird food i put
out yesterday teatime ready for the little birdies today is getting wet again.:gaah: I have lost count of the amount of bird nuts I have had to throw away because they are not eaten quick enough before the rain/sleet/hail/sun finishes them off despite the feeders having rooves on them:snork:

I still love the snow though....:runforhills:

Not a bad day really. The weather was dry, sunny mostly but cold. Then the clouds started to appear in a slow, silent army and it got colder:gaah: I don't think the temperature got above 45f and now it has dropped to 43f:coffee:

Heading towards a severe frost tonight. Currently 1.4C. Some prediction have us down for a minimum of 2C, but given that's already wrong, i think the other prediction of circa -5C is much more likely.

Either way the garden is really starting to struggle with this prolonged wintry weather. Many plants are on the verge of defoliation or collapse. (for example Gardenias and Eurphorbia mellifera).

This 'Spring' or therefore lack of it, could cost me a lot this year! Also if this exceptional cold carries on any longer it could have very negative impacts on the crop industry later this year, especially fruit growers.

Stayed overcast here all day but dry.
Yes, we actually had a dry day on a weekend. :thud:
Just a glimpse of a weak, watery sun around mid afternoon sent temperatures soaring to 7°C.
Thought it was too good to be true, it's raining steadily now.
