Don't mind the sunshine, it's the heat i hate 18/20 is tops for me, any thing above and i'm socking wet

 

And it's absolutely blooomin' luvvly out there at the moment so it's Cornflakes, strawberries and raspberries ( with a touch of cream) out on the garden bench for brekkie...

Roasted alive already and just in for something cool to drink at 9am! but NOT complaining. It's going to be a real tester for the men at Wimbledon today, they'll be struggling to keep properly hydrated.

 

Another beautiful day yesterday not a cloud I the sky.
Same again today.

Another 20-something day, with the little wispy 'mares tails' sort of clouds it's Sunday so just kicking back today after cutting a shrub back

 

Another scorcher here today, although I'm sure it will turn horrible in an hour or two, because I'm off to park my rear wheel drive car in a field that will no doubt get rained on, and then stand in a neighbouring field to watch a bunch of mentalists as they try to determine the minimum required length of time that motorbike wheels have to be in contact with the ground for. We're off to watch the motocross racing.

it feels about 22 or 23 here but I have no idea as my weather station sensor broke. sky is hazy but its still sunny.

 

Just finished our roast lunch and having a break before the tennis this afternoon and it is up to 77f outside and 76f inside

Popped to Tesco's while the meat was cooking and it was like a mad house and we got there just before ten.Everyone was stocking up on BBQ stuff plus booze so they can laze around enjoying the weather while it lasts.The heat soon hit us when we came back outside

Just feel sorry for all those poor sods who have paid a fortune to jet off somewhere to find some sun and we have it all here in good old blighty and it hasn't cost us a penny

 

Lovely here. Bit of a pity I have been in the kitchen preparing lunch for guests and baking bread this morning but have been popping in and out to enjoy the sun as well. Salad, chard, raspberries, strawberries and herbs all straight from the garden ....

Last night, got back from the theatre quite late and was still pleasant enough to sit in the garden for a while with some very chilled white wine in the dusk. Grand.
