Bitterly cold wind again today. I was near Ellesmere in Shropshire today at a Nature Reserve where the snow is still thick on the ground and there was still ice on the lakes, ponds and lagoons. Still, the Sun came out every now and then for a few minutes brightening the day, but not warming it. So, all in all, not a bad day but still bitterly cold.:coffee:

We were supposed to be sort of okay today so went to the caravan and this horrendous rain storm came through ... but our temps are mild at 16c. Easter will be mild with us .. hope it's not too bad with you guys!

Two good things to say about the weather today.

    It stayed dry.

The unrelenting grey cloud of the past week finally began to thin a little and a few patches of blue sky could be seen.

Otherwise, still cold at 2ÂșC and still got that nagging east wind.

Snow gone - slightly better day lets hope it's better weather for us all at Easter.

I am fed up with housing all the plants in the kitchen - I'll soon have to swap places and move myself into the greenhouse.

Lovely and sunny this morning, but cold. Still not even taken a glimpse at a seed packet!

It's tried to snow all day with large flakes dropping vertically out of the sky but it has failed to stick and also the snow showers weren't heavy enough. Having said that the Postie turned up at my door this morning covered in snow!!:heehee: The wind has seemed less bitter and strong as well. Then later in the day the Sun came out for a few minutes every now and then, so not too bad a day, although the temperature has never got above the middle 30'f all day and is now 35f.:coffee:

A much brighter day here than we've had for a long time, sunny intervals rather than constant sunshine, but nobody's complaining.
Still some snow lying in the shade and where it piled up and still the biting cold east wind, but staying dry.

Nothing great for the time of the year, but mostly sunny until about 3pm, 7C max, best since last Friday.
Nice and dry though so able to get working on the allotment.
