Thunder and lightning here with much needed steady rainfall. I'm just hoping we don't get the torrential downpours that have been forecast.

Looks like our weather has finally changed. Dreary with dense cloud cover and there has been rain. We desperately needed rain as had none at all for about 15 weeks. We look even drier than where the Open golf was going on which is about 30 miles away. Hoping we have a good steady drizzle for about 5 days and then back to glorious...I can dream!

Vince Hey, Vince, that's not fair! We're only down the road from you (as the cloud floats) and we've already got bright sunshine and 68F (about 20C) and quite humid. They've forecast in the low 30'sC for today.

Send some of that rain this way.

Still hot here, just looked at the lightning in northern france, its starting to spread out into the channel, could do with a good soak.

Since the beginning of July we've had temperatures of around 30Âșc, with the odd thunderstorm here and there. Thanks to all the rain we had in spring (well, up to the beginning of July!) the garden is taking longer to dry out than usual. After two weeks away I came back to find something resembling the Amazon. (rainforest, not .com :heehee:).
