Yet another lovely sunny day today with the occassional snow flurry, I don't expect to see 'green' for at least another week though as we have a slow thaw, 2C. Temperatures are set to rise next week. :)

All that snow you've got Sheal is going to cause a right soggy mess when it thaws:frown:

I don't even want to think about that Loli! Right now I'm worrying about my roses still under a four foot drift.

They should be safe enough, Sheal, as the snow should insulate them from the real villain.........the winds.

Thanks Armandii, they are fairly sheltered where they are from the wind but they could be buried for some while. I think I might carefully shovel some snow off them at the weekend. :)

When I was coming home last night the car thermometer read -3C but it felt a lot colder. Very sunny this morning but the heaviest frost I've seen for some time.

A sky full of dark grey heavy clouds with the occasional showing of the Sun. The wind has picked up somewhat making the day feel even colder than it is. Not really a day for outdoor jobs so I've spent the day getting to grips with some software on the Computer.........well. it's better than nothing.:dunno: :snork: The temperature is 39f but it really doesn't feel like that, more like below freezing.:coffee:

It's been a lot less hostile down here today and there was a lovely sunset this evening. There are pink tinged fluffy little clouds racing from north to south as I type BUT the light is fantastic and birds are still singing....

I wasn't warm today, but it wasn't just as cold either - I spent most of my afternoon outside with my mistress.

Tonight, however, its cold enough to freeze the barnacles off a boat!

Dry, cloudy with a few bright intervals.
And still the bitter east wind relentlessly blowing in off the North Sea. It's been blowing all week now at work and we are all heartily sick of it.

Just popped out the back door to let Ozzy have his moment ... light snow fall!

Happy Good Friday to one and all ... time for a toasted Hot X Bun I think.
