We have thunder in the distance and it's getting nearer and louder.....the sky's gone really dark.

Much fresher here today, with a decent wee breeze blowing, and not as hot (around 25ยบ max); sun is streaming in the French doors, and its shaping up to be a lovely evening. :)

No thunderstorm last night and very little rain. A mixture of cloud and sun again today, 18C.

Yesterday turned out to be hot and muggy but not as hot as previously. We had a good hour of rain around midnight and it's dull and windy with a temp of 60F. The forecast today is sunny with some rain at mealtimes with temps in the mid 70's, and then going back up around 90 by Thursday.

Brightened up quite nicely now and feels lovely and warm, still a little breezy though.

Quite strong gusts. Blew over a large planter of Dahlias - now tucked in a corner for shelter. It has snapped off a branch of Maskotka Toms from the window box too..

24C, just had a REALLY big thunderstorm, almost-constant rumbles & bangs, heavy rain. The first I knew of it, even before any rain, was a feline thunderbolt through the door! Then the first bang and rain! Psychic... Now it's sunny, but we're surrounded by heavy thunderheads, it won't be the last we see of the thunder today!

Looks like the Peak District is getting all the big thunderstorms, Ellen, as here in West Cheshire we're just getting distant rolls of thunder and nothing else. My two Moggies are still wandering around the garden quite happily.:cat-kittyandsmiley:
