Hazy sunshine, nice wee breeze and 23º - showers are forecast throughout the day, but were also forecast through the night and we haven't had a drop so far.

Got woken up at 5am with torrential rain, had a couple of showers since then but the sky's lightening up a bit. A little cool but not cold, around 16C I think

Around 5pm we had torrential rain - not seen rain that heavy for years! Its dried up again now, but the air is very sticky.

@Victoria, I'd gladly send you some if I could :) In the meantime, enjoy your outdoor dinner :)

A nice bright morning followed by a cloudy spell, then at 5.30 it looked like all hell was going to be let loose, we had a few spatters then the sun came out again.

Rain rain rain, after the downpour we've just had there can't be much left up there - it flooded my patio.

Sheal there seems to be a pattern here - one day hot and one day rain. The plants are getting as confused as me!

Delightful little morning here. Lots of dew everywhere, very still and the sun's peering through a fine veil of cloud. 15C at the moment,
