Not as cold here last night as the previous night, 12c still feels cool now as the sun is struggling to break through the clouds.

After spending three sunny in Kent we have a beautifully sunny morning here in Shineyland. It was a mild 56F when I wandered out at 4.30 a.m. and is now 60F at 8.30 a.m. The ground is very dry and no sign of rain coming this week.

Overcast all day yesterday, thought I felt the odd spot of rain, 18 deg most of the day, only down to 15c overnight, and low cloud on hills, supposed to break up and get warmer later.

Shineyland is in that part of the weather map near the bottom right hand corner that has been showing sunny all the time.

By 4.30 yesterday afternoon the temperature had just reached 80F (almost 27C) and they forecast even hotter for the next few days. I've done an hour's work out there already and the temp is now 63F (17C) and a bit humid.

Today was mostly cloudy and quite muggy until 4 o'clock then clear blue skies and a beautiful end to the day was 20'c @7 pm while drinking a cold one!

Down to 15c overnight, sun just breaking through the low lying mist as I type, sky appears cloudless now.
