    Rain and hailstones today with 60mph winds to come later, whatever happened to summer! My daughter and family are stranded in Liverpool having flown back from a holiday abroad, they can't get back to the island. :doh:

    Very gusty with wild , heavy showers this afternoon. A nightmare for any big "do" trying to prepare for tonight. There's a bonfire down on the Abbey green for tonight - looks to be mainly conifer branches. Glad we are at the other end of the High Street.

    Again, like yesterday, it has rained from early morning until mid-day and then dried up. The winds have picked up and increased all day and are gusting strongly now, which is a bit ironic after all the warnings we had about the great storm last week and we in West Cheshire got nothing!!:dunno::snork: The temperature is now 47f:coffee:

        Not too bad here today. Quite misty and murky first thing, but it gradually brightened up and the temperature reached 14C this afternoon.
        The wind did begin to pick up later on and we had just one rogue shower which briefly interrupted my gardening activities, but it did produce a lovely rainbow. :)
