Thankfully there's no damage in the garden after the winds last night. There's plenty of leaves blowing about ready to brush up though. It's blustery today and raining with a current temperature of 7C.

After the battering last night it has been calm today with wall to wall sunshine, 11C. A frost is possible tonight as the temperature is already down to 5C.

We black as night all morning and bitter and then it was sunny at lunchtime then suddenly it was black and there was a torrential rainstorm and the wind was right nasty. Absolutely brass monkeys out in the garden when I was doing a bit of pottering about. Typical Fens freaky
                weather.

ps was lovely seeing the migrating birds at the crack of dawn over skyline.

Just started raining here - thank goodness. Diwali and Guy Fawkes 'celebrations' are driving our poor wee man nutty; poor wee blighter is terrified of all the bangs and pops.

Don't get me wrong, I love a fireworks display, but I really am beginning to detest domestic fireworks.

When I was a kid, it was bonfire night, and only bonfire night - now its nearly a bloody month!

It's cold out there this morning....clear skies when I went out earlier with lots of twinkling stars! The air is quite still and there's a frost on the cars. A sunny day has been forecast. Fingers crossed as I want to plant my tulip bulbs.
