    There was a bonny starlit sky when I went downstairs at 5.30am this morning to make a cuppa. Now it is dense cloud, raining and very still. The sky is looking a few shades lighter to the West so I'm hopeful of a couple of hours of sunshine maybe?

      Same here Loli, lovely sunny autumn day, nippy but nice to enjoy from indoors - I've got a rotten cold started so confined to barracks :frown: Using the time to plan the garden for next year.

        Been a dark, wet day here today - copious amounts of rain for the majority of the day, with an absolute deluge just before 3pm; areas of flooding all over the place, with manhole covers being forced open by the sheer pressure of the water underneath them.
