      Cold grey & dull here, just put the fire on.

      One of us forgot to switch the solar pump back on last night (it over runs & needs to cool once the sun has gone down sometimes) Just switched it back on, it was reading 64c on the roof just from the infra red getting thru the clouds:thud:

          I was out today at Frodsham Marshes for an exploratory visit and the day started off sunny but with a stiff cold breeze. Then the clouds gathered more and more and the breeze got even colder although in the shelter of a 15ft bank overlooking a large water it felt reasonably warm. But the day got colder as late afternoon came on so I made for home. The temperature now is 38f.:coffee:

            Top temp today was 10.4C! Felt relatively mild in the light breeze.

            Now it's arrowing towards a frost. 3.4C and falling fast, despite a light breeze.

            No rain here yet although when I checked the weather online it told me it was raining here - and I haven't got the Shineyland shield powered up yet so it can't be that! :scratch:

            The ground is extremely dry so we could do with some rain and today would be a good day for it, as I won't have time for gardening.

            5c and plenty of sunshine at the moment, but expecting a light drizzle later from the south. A brisk breeze too from the NNE, so hope that turns and gives a mild slot for a while.
