          Pelting down most of the night, roads were hellish this morning - I hear that its been so bad, part of the A40 over by Greenford has subsided. Chilly day today, and as dull as ditch water for the most part - apparently, there is more heavy rain to come tomorrow too.

          Don't you just love winter?

            Still pleasant and mild outdoors, about 8c today though I've been confined to barracks with a bug of some sort. Still had a been of a butchers at the garden, fuchsias still blooming away along with other tender stuff. Nice but weird.

            The Sun was out today as promised:SUNsmile: but there was very little warmth in it :mad:. But it was nice to be walking around in proper light rather than the gloomy half light which has been the norm over the last week or two.!!! The temperature never got up above 40f and right now it's 38f:coffee::snork:

            By early afternoon the sun had disappeared, back to the gloom again, 7C. The wind is picking up right now ready for another gale blasting tomorrow and Thursday. :doh:
