A grey, drizzly/showery day, not cold (17ºc) but a few more degrees wouldn't go amiss.

We were 28.4c today and had lunch at the beach, 27.7c at the mo ... almost no breezes here Lorea and it looks like it will continue through the weekend which is good as we have friends from the UK here this week, met 29 years ago here and they have a place, so are going to the river for lunch.

Mentioning river ... Cruz is getting fatter by the day ... :yahoo:

My guess is that there is a cherry tree nearby! :gaah:

A very windy grey dull day with some rain showers!
Currently 9'c but don't feel like it!

The heavy gust of wind and rain is taking all the petals off my Kanzan Cherry tree

Rainy, windy, although not too cold, but a bit of a chill in the wind. Completely different to earlier in the week. Getting ready to cover little seeds up.

The weather wasn't too bad earlier today, but by noon the rain arrived and it has kept up driven by the gusting wind since then. The cats were not amused and kept giving me looks as though it was my fault.:cat-kittyandsmiley: The temperature now is 50f.:snork::coffee:

Lovely and sunny this morning with a lightish breeze, by early afternoon it had clouded over and the wind had got up, but nowhere near as bad as forecast, we've had some spells of rain but nothing much and at the moment the wind is dropping off again with just the occasional gusts.

Fingers crossed we may have missed the worst of it?? :)

My magnolia looked great on Sunday got home form work tonight to find more petals on the lawn than on the tree.

It is so cold tonight and was even tempted to put the heating on.

We had heavy rain and high winds again today but it died out about 2pm to leave a calm afternoon with sunny spells, 10C. It's not looking good for the next week. :gaah:

Well it looks like we're set for highs of between 15ºC and 17ºC this weekend, Victoria. Everyone here is complaining about the endless winter! Then they'll be complaining when it's 40ºC in summer (and so will I!!) As they say in Spanish "nunca llueve a gusto de todos" - "it never rains to everyone's taste". Enjoy the week with your friends, and your river lunch - it sounds lovely!
                And yay! for Cruz!! :yay:

Although the clouds deny the sun
                  Upon this dismal morn
The wind abates and birds abound
                  Across our bright green lawn

A bit cloudy, a bit cool (about 10ºC), but the sun may come out later. (just for a bit)
