As I suspected in my previous post about an hour ago, it is now stotting off the pavements. The weed killer manufacturer proudly boast that their product isn't affected after 1 hour of application if it rains. Well the weed killler got about 65 minutes before the heavens opened. We'll "wait and see pudding" if the boast is a reality or hot air!

Like Silu, after I posted earlier it didn't take long for the rain to turn up and stay with us. It's been drizzling continuously and so the cat's are indoors pestering me because they're bored.:cat-kittyandsmiley: The temperature is still 50f.:coffee:

      Temp 17C.
The sky has turned milky and it looks like rain on the way.

Sunnyish this morning but clouded over later and it's wild, wet and windy now. Feels/looks like late October out there :wallbanging:.Heating's still on in the house and I am exasperated by all this rotten weather,
        Jenny

Best described as dreich. Drizzle on and off all day with a chilly wind, temp didn't get above 12C. Just been out to cover maincrop tatties with fleece as there's a slight chance of ground frost tonight. Feels more like late autumn than summer:wallbanging:

A thoroughly grim day, grey, cold (at just 10.4 degrees!!), damp and breezy..:dunno:

Seen on Countryfile that there will be little improvement this week as cold air spills in from the north - again!!!, the only change will be the winds falling light but that could allow light frosts in some areas by mid-week :frown:

Also read that the good old jet stream has slipped further south than is normal for this time of year giving us this cool damp weather and also threatening us with another grim summer!!!

Yesterday was warm(ish) in the sunshine and the promised showers turned out to be 30 minutes of very light drizzle.

This morning doesn't look too bright. Very overcast but the wind has dropped.

Sun splitting the heavens atm, not had nose outside yet but bet it's nippy. Choked on my coffee last night while listening to the forecast as it's not impossible to get SNOW this week. Just as well the experts have stopped mentioning global warming and now talk of climate change. If they had persisted with gw I reckon they'd have got linched by us Scots!

That 6ºC minimum forecast for last night would explain the frost this morning.
Apart from today and part of tomorrow, it's not looking good for the rest of the week: 12-15ºC maximum!!!??? :ouch1:
