Still sunny with the occasional large cloud drifting across. The temperature keeps vacillating between 54F and 59F.

It's been cold and wet with the occasional patch of sun for the last few days, 10C. The lawns are growing fast but they are like bogs again, so no mowing.

In view of the forecast last night and the probability of steady, hard rain today, I popped out into the garden at 6.51am this morning and tightly rolled and secured the tops of 2 compost bags that had started to open up a bit. In view of the forecast last night and the probability of steady, hard rain today, I didn't fancy precious sieved compost getting wet and soggy. Came indoors and 3 minutes later it started to rain and I reckon it has set the trend for the rest of the day :gaah: . Not windy but only 10C now,
    Jenny

    Good timing, Jenny :dbgrtmb:

The forecast for today is heavy rain :blue thumb:. We really need it as the rain keeps missing us and I'm still having to keep the sprinkler going. We've had virtually no rain for over six weeks!

At the moment it's bright and sunny but I can see some clouds in the distance.

It's stayed dry here so far, although there is a lot of clouds in the skies and every now and then there's a single drop of water here and there. There's a bit of a breeze but nothing too bad. The temperature is now 53f:coffee:
