Apparently we had a minimum of 2ºC this morning, so that's nice. But it doesn't seem to be as horrendous as the forecast predicted - cloudy but dry at the moment, around 11ºC. There doesn't seem to be any sign of a change for the forseeable future.

Not overly bad here today - bit cloudy, and not warm, but not cold either.

It has turned into a grand day here. Lots of blue sky and hardly a breath of wind. Back door open again this afternoon and all is well...

We were promised a frost last night but no sign of that. Today has been wall to wall sunshine, wasted as I was out shopping. :doh:14C. The forecast is showing dry for the next week at the moment, with temperatures better than they have been, but we know all that can change in an instant. I'm hoping it doesn't! :)

Yesterday was warm and sunny in the sunshine - cold and not sunny in the shade. :)

This morning is dull, no breeze and 47F

Rain forecast for Saturday - yeah! yeah! They keep telling us that!!! Still got the sprinkler going.

Earlier, there was lots of blue sky but the clouds have arrived now and are occupying 60% of the sky. It's a bit chilly (11C) and the breeze is in the NE . But it's dry,

If anyone follows weather models/charts, you'll know at the moment there's a big stand off between the GFS model and the ECM model, for those that don't watch the models (which are the raw numerical outputs of which forecasts are based), the GFS shows a warm and settled outlook for the forseeable future, whilst the ECM models shows a cold, unsettled forecast for the forseeable future. What this basically means that 48 hours out from the start of warmer air coming in from the northeast (yep thats how bad things have got, were now relying on a warm arctic air), there is no agreement between models. Which means it could either be warm or cold, literally. It's all on a knife edge, exciting stuff if you're a meteorologist.

ps Lorea.. you should move back to UK :mute:

Having just heard the weather forecast they have, once again, changed their minds! We were told that tommorow we would get rain coming from the north. Now they're saying that tomorrow will be dry and we will get rain on Sunday coming from the south

Not heard the weather forecast so far.:dunno::snork: But today has been cloudy and grey although not cold. In fact you could sense the warmth of the Sun trying to filter through the clouds but there was no actual sunshine. The temperature now is 52f:coffee:

A very cloudy day here (London) - a couple of times has tried to rain a few spits but no more. Not exactly cold - but not warm - the odd bit of brightness. Forecast said it was to rain today too, and tomorrow - now changed to cloudy tomorrow - rain Sunday from 4 p.m. and heavy rain on Monday. - nights are warming to minimum 10 after tonight though :)
