It's only 18c here at the mo having only gone to 22c but there is a horribly sharp wind. In saying that, t'other half burnt his knees today and has 'sandal marks' on his feet from our luncheon with friends today ... well, he will sit in the sun, won't he? He sensibly did have his Stetson on so his balding head was saved ... :heehee:

It wasn't bad this morning. The Sun came for minutes at a time and it was really warm but then it started to go down hill and the sky became overcast. At around 3pm we started to get light rain and it rained on and off since then. The temperature is now 53f.:coffee::snork:

It was touch and go whether I'd get the lawns mowed today, so I did what the fair maiden did while the weather remained grey and ever threatening, 16C. Lawns done and it started to rain around 7pm.

Overcast and light shower day forecast again for Ipswich, Suffolk. Second and last day for the Suffolk show which had to be abandoned on the first day last year due to the weather. Vee

....errrr would you believe still RAINING!!!, approx 60hrs now.......but it is only light now and the sky looks much brighter, coupled with a more positive forecast for this afternoon and the next few days - I'm getting my hopes up that I might actaully be able to get in the garden again soon :snork:

We have light drizzle and it's fairly bright out there.

After the long dry spell we have had some rain, on and off, since Monday with at least half a day each day of no rain. We've managed to get some gardening done every day and the garden is gurgling happily in the rain.

Woke to fairly clear skies so I've just finished spraying path weed killer on the drive, patio and paths.

                    Guess what!
It's just started raining so that's the job ruined :gaah::gaah:
