We certainly seem to be getting better weather than many. No rain to speak of for at least a month. Apart from 1 day about 3 days ago, wall to wall sunshine and glorious again today so far. Our ground is cracking and hate to admit we could do with rain.I can hardly believe I'm saying this after the winter we had. The ewes are getting their annual shearing atm and thankful for it as they've been really struggling with their huge fleeces in quite high temperatures. A huge improvement on 2012!

Cool, bright and breezy here this morning. More like an early May day really. Noticing that growth on many Summer perennials is somewhat sluggish :gaah:slow this year...

Bit of everything today. This morning sunny and mild, main part of the day overcast, windy, showery and chilly and then late afternoon and now evening it is lovely and sunny - love the light in this part of the country especially in the evening when it's bright but strangely soft as it floods over the Fens. Tops about 18C today so not bad, accidentally got a bit of a sunburn on the go on my bonce :ouch1:

Even though temperatures reached 13C today it felt a lot cooler. A grey, wet and windy day.

Rained most of the day yesterday, and could hear it raining heavily a couple of times through the night.Accompanied by very strong winds, Very overcast at the moment but not raining....and no obvious damage in garden from the wind which appears to have dropped a little. :frown:

Last night's TV weather report said we would have heavy rain during the night. Didn't happen in Shineyland! Sunny at the moment but now saying it will rain this afternoon. So I've put the sprinkler on the veg plot. :heehee:
