Yesterday the temperature got to 76f which, for my local area, was the hottest day of the year. It was very humid though which meant cutting lawns etc was jobs that made you sweat!! It also go very overcast with leaden skies during the late afternoon but no rain arrived and the temperature stayed at around 69f during the night.
Today started off bright and very warm with the temperature at 71f at 11am but it has now dropped to 68f and is still humid although not uncomfortably so.:coffee::snork:

Last night's sunset was incredibly pink but by the time I'd found the camera, ( buried under my knitting), a lot of the colour had faded

Not buried under the knitting Jenny but ,yes that often happens to me;)

Here in the Garden of England it is 26c(78f) and indeed there is a blue sky and white fluffy clouds just and a bright yellow duster in the sky:)

29.5º here earlier this afternoon, although is cooling now that the sun has been clouded over; currently, it is around 26º and incredibly close, dull, and quite still.

20C here today max, by turns warm and sultry and then suddenly overcast a dank, strangely still as well - think this is one of the cooler parts of the country today. Still, I'm heading off 1200 miles in a northerly direction tomorrow where, oddly, it is forecast to be warm and sunny  :snork:

Still 23º here, and very oppressive - this is the sort of heat that I can't handle.

It's been hot and very muggy here today.

Had a load of strimming to do at work today, the grass was quite wet first thing this morning, so I had to wear wellies, thick plastic trousers and a helmet complete with visor and ear muffs.
Not really the ideal attire for a hot muggy day. :phew:

Yesterday it reached 82.7F in the Main garden but a little bit cooler everywhere else. After a muggy night it is now 65.3F and the sun is out.
