The unseasonal sun yesterday didn't last long ;) Windy, drizzly with the occasional downpour here. BUT saying that the sun is trying to peek through... Here's hoping!! We've planned to go to Bakewell dog show (the "Ultimutt" dog show... :D ) so hoping for dry weather at least!

Well, it rained during the night so the garden paths and lawn were were this morning but it hasn't rained since although every now and then you could feel flecks of water in the wind. The wind is the chief factor today, the skies being overcast with an occasional show of the Sun. It's still comfortably warm with a temperature of 63f.:coffee::snork:

The wind down here is in a destructive mood and this morning, it floored one of my deep potted/ caged tomatoes. It is upright again and securely lashed to the fence with as much protection as I can provide. The petunias are right fed up with it all,

The rain promised overnight wasn't enough to give the garden a good soaking. The rain expected today still hasn't materialised although there are dark clouds out there, and it's about time the strong wind dropped! 14C

At the rate things are going I can see the island on a hosepipe ban later, we've had no rain to speak of since April. We've only had one drought in the nearly 21 years I've lived here.

Yesterday was mildish but very windy. There were a few spots of rain but we still need a lot more.

The wind has dropped to a strong breeze, it's 63F and alternately sunny and cloudy.

The sun was trying to battle the rain earlier but she's given up for now:frown:
