I couldn't agree more.

 

Smirr is that very, very fine rain that you can barely see @ViewAhead, butnot as heavy as proper drizzle. Like low cloud/mist, but more visible, and makes you wetter.
I couldn't see if they were deciduous or evergreen @Sheal, but it's a lovely pic.
Some trees here are bare, and some are still carrying quite a bit. Quite hit and miss though.
Not light enough yet, but it's a dry, cloudy start here with an o'night low of 6 degrees [still 6 just now at approx. 7.10 am] and a predicted high of about 11 degrees. No wind that I could detect earlier.

Yesterday was quite breezy but dry, with a high of 9 degrees. Ideal for hefty work outside.

 

Just 6c at the moment. Max 9c. Cloudy. Damp.

A robin is singing its heart out. Otherwise deadly quiet.

 

Sunrise at 7.20 so up and ready to go ! We’ll cup of tea first. It’s misty through the Trees out the front still leaves to fall off the big oaks and the one hanging over out the back at the top of our garden so a few more leave bags yet to fill , it’s dry around 6c and an hour gardening later .

 

Well 8c again and the same temp in the day time, imgoing to have to check if the temp gauge is working but it did drop from 10c to 8c but odd that day and night are the same temp's
8c cloudy but abit brighter

 

Brightly overcast with a weak sun, barely a breeze, 17c going to 22c.

 

The sky is the same colour as those new cars they’re bringing out now. A deathly pallid grey that seems to suck the life out of you.

 

A blank-looking sort of a day, not expected to improve either. Dry. 11c.

 

It’s one of these days when November hits the bones and you end up with a type of arthritis. 7c and it feels cold. Time for the extra thick fleece and put the heating on.
@AuntyRach Reading your article, I wouldn’t be surprised if we get a very cold December.
We are around that time when we can expect one of the really cold winters. The last one was 2009/2010.

 

9 degree, not a breath of wind and thick fog obscuring the view, auntie beeb says we might get some drizzle, off out again soon, well dressed for the day.

 

It’s a light to medium grey today. End of report.
