Couldn't agree more about having an airing cupboard @cactus_girl . We went for another ordinary boiler rather than a combi when we had to renew, couldn't lose the airing cupboard:)

A bit misty and damp this morning. Humidity up in the house so de-humidifier on. Supposed to be a tad ‘warmer’ than yesterday thankfully.

No proper frost yet but temps of 5-7 in the mornings from Tuesday on this week by the looks.

Grey again. Some sunshine in the forecast for tomorrow but I'll believe it when I see it.

Unremitting greyness all day - apart from ten minutes from 10.55 to 11.05 when a thin sun shone on the war memorial, and on the silver band playing for the ceremony.

Pretty much the same as the last week or more, after a slightly more promising start it soon thickened up and even some dampness in the air PM.

Forecast for next week looks pretty rubbish for this part of the country apart from something slightly brighter tomorrow if we are lucky.

Well the sun came out all of a sudden mid morning - like a pin had burst the cloud. And it became weirdly warm. Although the ground never dried off as it was very humid. But I think our long drab spell has finished at last.

Outside it's very mild and the owl and muntjac have turned up to make a noise.

                      Tomorrow is full sun.

                      My mood has lifted!

W had a tiny, short-lived glimmer of sunshine at about half past two this afternoon. Perhaps it's a sign that the cloud is starting to thin out.

We also had yesterday after noon for 1 minute sunshine and then again before sunset for another minute. When I went to bed, I saw the moon for the first time in ages.
Now it's not raining but it's slightly wet outside. Feels warm, it's around 9c, up to 11c. Unbelievable, BBC forecast sunshine.
We had a similar weather pattern in 2009, when November was warm and then came the frost and ice in Maidenhead back then...
