It's official - according to The Met Office England had only 130 minutes of sunshine in the first ten days of November, a tenth of what would be expected. The UK had 5.3 hours, mostly because of clearer skies in Scotland, but some places did not see a minute. Brighter weather is expected as moisture trapped close to the Earth's surface finally lifts.

Well it's back to bad grey and even colder here.

Warm sunshine here in Torquay all day, glorious walking on the seafront this morning and the revamped gardens on the front are lovely
