What's your Weather Like November 2024

I've got the log burning going ready for the cold snap that's coming, get some heat into the house ready tis now warm in the houose

 

Grey and damp from some light rain last night.
6c.

 

Seems quite mild here still - we don't get the frosts until Tuesday.

Rain will come later and tomorrow, but not unduly cold yet.

Last night the rain cleared and it was mild enough to go outside to see a misty moon and two planets. I think they are Jupiter and Saturn - not sure if you can see them at the bottom of the photo, but I can. I don't have the best night time photography equipment.



They do look a bit small!

Lucky here can see the blue breaking through the clouds. Gosh the birds on the feeders literally in front of me through the window are in a frenzy, it’s lovely to watch them . Sunset 4.19 better get a move on lots of gardening jobs on the list !

Rainy day forecast but dry right now! 9C.

 

Good morning all ,a sunny start but cold with a high of 6c down to -1c tonight.soon be time to pull my thermal vest out me thinks.

 

Sunny with patchy cloud and a gentle breeze from the west north west temp 8c feels like 6c.

 

Today started sunny but it's clouded over already and there's now rain in the forecast for this afternoon. Timing depends on which forecast I look at so keeping half an eye on the washing that's out on the line (and another half on the rain radar)

 

A hard frost this morning and it says 6 degrees now, but just been for a walk round the village and it feels closer to zero with the wind chill, quite a lot of cloud, but the sun has appeared now and then.

 

Rain arrived about half past one, so far just spots but enough to warrant bringing in the washing, and to put off hedge trimming until tomorrow.

 

We went to the gym half past 8 and it was grey. Quarter to 10 we arrived at Waitrose in sunshine. While heading home, the weather was so marvellous that we went to Avebury in blue sky quarter to 12. Tourist season is over and only locals were there.
I had a half of a pint of Wellwater in front of the Red Lion (a must have every couple of weeks because it’s the best beer and home made as the pub has got a well underneath) and looking towards the stones. I was incredibly happy to be so lucky to have that amazing location nearby. It was still sunny and quite warm.
After a coffee and sausage roll at the NT cafe, we went back to the car park. The sky started to get cloudy with a type of clouds we only get in winter.
It’s now cold outside and the heating is on.
We had a nice weekend and are awaiting the cold week ahead.
