What's your Weather Like November 2024

We are at 44f 6c and the sun is awesome. It's been perfect for raking leaves

 

I'm amazed, just heard the local forecast and they have described it as "brisk" winds, its blowing a bloody gale you morons for nearly 36hrs.
They have put out stronger warnings before and it has been hardly noticeable but this is really bad and they dont seem to know.

Even the met office site is showing close to 60mph like it has since yesterday.

 

It's still emptying down here, hasn't stopped since yesterday morning.

 

Hammering down here as well. Our lane was flooding badly earlier but fortunately we're on a hill.

 

A sunny, calm morning. This afternoon and evening have been breezy with light rain. 7C/45F

 

The rain is having a short break this morning then some light rain later. Tomorrow might even be dry and sunny!

At last the wind has dropped and I think it's stopped raining.

It's supposed to be sunny later with a gentle breeze from the south west temp 8c feels like 5c.

Because it's not going to rain today i can put the spot on treatment for fleas and ticks on the boys.

 

Hope no one in the badly flooded areas is struggling. I've always said that water does far more damage than almost anything else, because you still have the property sitting there, and making you depressed, because you're helpless for so long.
It's a wet, windy start here, and has been all night. O'night low was 6 degrees, dropping slightly as it's getting lighter. 5 to 6 just now at approx. 8.05am, with a predicted high of around 6 or 7. Wind chill will lower that of course. It's to stay rough and wet all day, with maybe lighter rain at times.
Once it's light enough, I'll check the rain gauge. It was almost full yesterday - 39mm, much of which would have been snow melt. Making up for the very dry first three weeks of the month!

Yesterday was windy, but dry from about 9am, and quite bright. After dropping down from the very high values of the previous night, it got to 10 degrees later on.

I will have a sweep and rake up a bit later, when the lawn, patio and drive have dried off a bit. Alot of my annuals are sitting there completely mushed. I haven't been out there since our frosts last week.
