What's your Weather Like November 2024

4c wet grey and calm. Not going to get any warmer either. Then temps will drop down to -2c.

A day to stay in I think. I will make the Xmas cake. Takes ages to bake.

 

2 degrees and blue skies, forecast for a nice day

 

Grey with drizzly rain this morning, but it doesn't look as if it's amounting to much. According to the weather radar, the heavier rain passed by south of us and we just got the light stuff on the edge of the rain band. Squinting at the rain gauge through the window, it looks like there's maybe 2mm in there.

 

Dry, very chilly, 3c currently, 6c expected later. Sunny spells too.

It so dark I think it's bedtime

 

It is 29f -2c and the guessers say we'll get a glimpse of sunshine later on with lots of clouds in between. It is still pitch here so I can't verify that.

Thank goodness it's only just over three weeks before the daylengths stop shortening and my urge to hibernate goes away.

 

Back from having molar removal so sat in sun for 20 minutes, 18c. Sharing the sun ...

 

Big drop in temperature since about 13c earlier, its now down to 6c, nearly dark with a cold wind blowing.
Puddles still around where the ground is now waterlogged, it like a swamp.

Frost forecast for tonight, wonderful, I dont think.

 

I had to be ready for work by 4, woke up at 2 fearing I might miss the appointment. Just having lunch, knowing my day will go up to 5. You will find me in bed by 7.
Those are the days I wish I were a pensioner.
At 2, it rained and it stopped raining at 7. Temperature dropped to 5c and it feels now like winter.
I have no energy left. Just managed to wrap the tree fern with fleece.

 

Temperature starting to drop now the sun is disappearing - will be a clear but frosty night. Luckily no early start tomorrow for me.

 

A nice enough day, though very cold with a high of 4 degrees

 

The afternoon was sunny intervals and a gentle breeze from the north north west temp 5c feels like 5c.

 

Freezing already, -6c forecast for tonight. Looking forward to a frosty walk tomorrow morning
