A classic Autumnal day, dark( I have my desk light on), 10 degrees, misty and not a breath of wind, will pop out for a woodland walk in a bit now I'm over the jet lag of an hours flight from Southampton to Glasgow lol.

Dull and dreary again. On the plus side, no frost and no plant-destroying wind, so the salvias in particular are still going great guns, particularly the big ones, Amistad and Phyllis Fancy. Phyllis is always late to get going so a mild autumn is when she does best.

It tried to brighten up this morning but never made it.
Just grim a grisly but at least no drizzle.
                            Felt cold at only 11c.

Just more grey today. Mist forecast overnight so they’ll be a firework ‘smog’ later. I was hoping it would rain heavily to put off all the firework ‘enthusiasts’. They must have been a sale on round here as it’s all go!
