What's your weather Like November

Everybody get more rain than you do.

I saw some blue sky half an hour ago but it never got in the way of the sun and the gap has closed up now.

 

I was allowing myself some poetic licence on their whereabouts Shiney......they are up in Hertfordshire though...so to me that is 'up your way' ....despite being about 30+ miles away!!


In all seriousness though I know exactly what you mean in the localisation of weather, my sister lives a 10 minute walk from us and yet we often have completely different weather.

 

Dull, damp cold. Forecast colder next week, which although not unexpected, is very unfortunate.

 

Looks can be very deceiving......we've had ,and still do, thick cloud and absolutely not even a glimmer of sunshine today..

 

Still nice and sunny but that sharp, gusty breeze is still with us so temp just 18c.

 

Well the forecast was spot on this morning - some light rain showers were forecast for 9am & between 9-10am it did rain indeed! The temps were right as well as our max for today reached the 10C forecast! We also had some drizzle during the early afternoon but now we only have a sheet of cloud covering us.

I wonder if the nighttime min will be as accurate as the daytime max. We are expecting just 5C as tonight's min & tomorrow's max is expected to be similar to today's at 10C. But by Friday & Saturday we will come pretty close to freezing.

Well we never went out after all, just did the domestic stuff, well I got in the way and assisted when told........................4 degrees and eerily calm here, some hefty showers due on thursday it seems
Might go to Pitlochry instead tomorrow, though rain is forecast over Perthshire.

Quite a cool start to the day here with only 5C. It's very cloudy once again & the forecast is for another cool.,cloudy day with a max of 10C expected. No rain in today's forecast. The wind is also light once again.
