      The rain arrived late morning and decided to stay for the rest of the day but it remained mild at around 10-11C

      Dry now and at 5C.

        It has hardly ceased raining for the last 24 hours here! Though it has rained continuously the amount will have been very small as it's been very light, almost drizzle, a lot of the time. Still I suppose "every little counts" when it comes to filling up the aquifers! It's supposed to stop at around midnight & just be cloudy till breakfast time.

        Today's temps have hardly moved a "whisker" either side of 6C! Even the min for tonight will continue to be 6C! But from sun up tomorrow the temps will actually FALL instead of rising!!! Even during the hours of sunshine in the middle of the day we are only forecast 4C! So our max tomorrow will actually be lower than our min for tonight!!!

          They were showing parts of East Anglia on the news tonight, and trying to cause a panic buy, saying potatoes will be in short supply due to the fields still being underwater.

                  Good morning all

                  A cold cloudy start to the day here. It looks as though it isn't long since we had rain but it has stopped now. Temps at 6am are 4C going up to 6C max during the central hours of the day. The wind seems to be light but coming from the WNW, like yesterday.

                    Today our electricity gets switched off in 45 minutes time until 5pm!! And as we are completely electric....not very happy. Nippy day ahead I think,although we are off out for the afternoon...to get a meal and warm drinks!!!
