What's your Weather Like October 2024

'Our' buzzards have been quite quiet this year @cactus_girl but it's often not been ideal for seeing them. I love them.

A damp, cloudy start here with an o'night low of 8 degrees [11 just now at approx. 8.05 am] and a predicted high of around 12 or 13. To be wet later and quite breezy.

Yesterday was largely cloudy with showers, but they were pretty hefty mid afternoon. Very warm though as there was no wind to speak of, and the high was 16.

Brightly overcast, a crisp 15c going to 24x and sunny. Now any possible rain has moved has moved ...

 

Raining at the moment, then it's sunny intervals and perhaps thunder and lightning late afternoon. Max 15c.

But on Thursday temps could drop to 1c, which could finish off any remaining annual that are still flowering.

 

Low clouds , 12c and rain rain all day today . At least my bulbs planted yesterday are getting a good soaking.

Last night the forecast was for a dry night and a wet morning We've had the reverse and at the mo it's sunny.

Theyv'e changed the forecast for later today which was set to be dry. Now we're to get violent winds and heavy rain as the tag end of hurricane Kirk arrives along the western coast of France. Weather warnings out and beaches closed.

 

Grey early on today after a tiny splash of rain. It's brightening up now.

It is 44f 6c and the guessers are saying it will be a mix of sun and cloud. It's too dark to give my own opinion of what's unfolding. If there is a bit of sun, that will make it pleasant for working outside this afternoon

Sunny intervals and a gentle breeze from the south temp 15c feels like 16c.

 

We had cloudy sky with sudden sunshine in between this morning, interrupted by heavy rain once an hour. This has continued until now. 13c currently, more rain to come.

We had a short sharp shower about half an hour ago. More showers forecast through the evening, overnight and into tomorrow.
