Sun has been in and out today, currently it is out and 21c. We go under an Orange Warning tomorrow for thunderstorms and rain ... but showers may start later this evening.

Anyone in UK have clear skies as apparently the Aurora is visible tonight!

Too many houses around here as I believe you really need an horizon.
Also they keep saying you need to see it through a camera??????

Sounds like a non event to me and not worth getting out the chair for.

 

Yes, it's so faint especially down South that you need a long exposure to pick up the colours. Too much light pollution where I am too.

 

Well, the guessers lied. It got very cloudy and stayed that way with a high of only 56f 12c but the sun has now conquered everything. After the garden work is done..

Tomorrow they say. Yes, tomorrow we'll get what they promised today.

 

Yes you can only see the colours through a camera lens really which is a bit of a swizz imo.

Still dark here. Quite chilly and dry. I like!

 

Clear and cold.
Coldest morning yet at 2c.
I can see slight frost on the shed roof.
Haven't brought hardly any plants in for the winter yet so maybe a bit of damage.

A damp, cloudy start here. O'night low was 4 degrees [just reaching 7 just now at approx. 7.45 am] and a predicted high of around 9 or 10. It's to be showery all day, with brisk breezes.

Yesterday was a perfect day as far as I was concerned. Some light, wispy clouds at times, but mostly clear skies and sunny. The high was 10 degrees, but absolutely glorious when sitting in the sun, and only a gentle breeze. Ideal for the jobs I was doing outside too.
If it stayed like that all year, and never got any hotter, I'd be delighted!
