What's your Weather Like October 2024

Sunny and light winds from the west south west temp 4c feels like 3c

 

The sun is coming through and it’s a crisp morning with an almost frost on the grass. I had moved my pelargoniums but forgot to bring my Jade indoors (should be ok as by the back door).

A few dry days ahead now.

 

Cold and foggy, 9C. It'll brighten up later, though, back to 21C and sunny spells. Weather will be coming from S/SE for the next few days, so dry and sunny

 

Had some drizzle 5-7ish this morning. Currently overcast, 19c and thunderstorms forecast with heavy rain today ...... but looks like it may miss us as it goes into Spain (we are slightly up and left of Faro ...

 

Bright and cold; condensation on the windows this morning for the first time this Autumn.

 

Good Morning all , back from sunny Cyprus to the cold and rain but sunny today but cold high of 11c the northern lights were on show last night,lovely show.

 

Cool and sunny this morning with a light breeze.

 

Pulled the curtains out the back on our bank of grass it was glistening. Front garden the same on the grassy bit by the turning circle . The suns out its lightening up our Greenhouse half away up our back garden , OH mentioned best to get out some fleece to cover some small Lychnis plants (pink) we grew from seed planted in a sheltered spot , frost again tonight @AuntyRach .

 

The storm went past us causing flooding in Spain. At 11 o'clock I went out to move the Adenium pots into The Baffa (outdoor Lounge/Winter Garden) and this was how it looked ...



Currently 20,5c, lightly overcast with threats of rain and thunderstorms ...

 

The sun has risen and there are only a few wisps of clouds. It is 39f 3c and the guessers told me it is going up to 22c 76f. A great afternoon ahead so I'll get my errands done first thing!

Beautiful day today which we spent in Bristol. Yesterday, the forecast for tomorrow was sunshine. By early today the forecast for tomorrow was mostly rain. This evening, the forecast for tomorrow is rain early on and then mainly sunny for the rest of the day.
In the morning I'm just going to open the curtains and see what the weather is actually doing.

 

Woke up to a frost on the roof and lawn. The tops of the dahlias were blackened and the begonias had soggy flowers. By the house the plants were OK.

Lovely sunny day to get tidying up the garden.

Not so cold tonight and the moon is out.

Rain first thing tomorrow, but brightening up midday.
