Dry and warmer this morning at 14c and heading to 21. We have had so much rain it filled up my gauge from Monday to today, that's over 50mm. There were flooded roads nearby. More heavy rain due tonight.

16c and drizzly, can’t see through the trees in front over to the other side of the Valley it’s too misty . Painting the short fences I pulled up will have to be done in the potting shed now it’s rain all day for us .

The GH is steamed up on the outside so I have opened the door to let the warm air in. It did feel cooler inside.

          Currently 14c, max 18c.

Lots of rain last night and again tonight. Misty again.

Horrible. A second day of low, dark, drippy, wet, grey, thick mist. Torrential rain last night for hours. Everything is sodden and squelchy. Yuck!

It is warm, extremely humid and wet today so there’s been an unusual phenomenon in that many of my windows have condensation on the outside!

This is because the window surface outside is actually cooler than the outside air. This happens when either a house is actually colder than outside (plus a humid warm and wet day) or can happen if a triple glazed house doesn’t allow heat transfer out so the outer layer of window stays cool but the outside air warms up. I suppose outside today is like a warm shower and the window is the glass door which steams-up.

Rain set for the day - heavy with possible thunder.

It is 38f 3c and the guessers say that when the sun rises, it will show me lots of clouds. They say it will get up to 52f 10c. The next few days are promised to be nicer. We'll see.

Yesterday was dull, still and damp in the air but no actual measurable rainfall. We had a little bit of rain overnight, now back to overcast and still. The forecast is brighter for tomorrow and Friday but I'll be away for work, driving down to sunny (I hope!) Chippenham. I will set off early in the dark, but once I'm past halfway and the sun is up, it's usually a fairly pleasant drive down through the Cotswolds.

It has been sunny with patchy cloud and a light breeze, 21.4c and I can't see where this rain will come from  especially with a Yellow Warning.

Been having sunny periods with a breeze, drying things to some extent.
But more rain forecast for tonight.
                            20c.
