What's your Weather Like October 2024

Raining but not so much that flooding could be a threat. We have a rain warning for the coming hours but a nice dry day to expect for tomorrow.
95% humidity outside, 75% inside. Everything feels wet.
17c currently.
I try to stay awake for another hour. Next week is winter time change.

 

Pouring with rain again. Very mild. Humidity in GH is 74%, but the sensor is in a tub. Indoors the humidity is 94% as I'm cooking chips.

 

Just had a spell of very heavy rain with thunder and lightning.

 

Frost early yesterday morning and wall to wall sunshine all day.

Rain overnight and a damp, humid, grey day today. 14C/57F

12c full moon and clear sky at 5.30am now a bit cloudy

 

Another big soaking overnight 14mm, a bit swampy out there now, there appears to be no end to it.

A damp, cloudy start. O'night low was 12 degrees [12 just now at approx. 8.05 am] so very very mild, with a predicted high of about 14 degrees. Wee bit of rain through the night, so there was 4mm in the gauge.

Yesterday ended up quite dry, but very, very mild, reaching 16 degrees. The rain stopped in the morning, so it was just a cloudy, humid sort of day.
High winds for tomorrow, but no weather warning, although we have one for Sunday [and Monday] even though the wind speeds are higher for tomorrow. Bonkers!

 

The rain found us between 8-11pm and we had a couple of good downpours totalling 9mm so the ground is happy. Sun is up and chased away cloud, calm and 15c going to 21c, sunny all day.

 

Cornwall
At the moment there is wall to wall blue sky and there be sunshine when the sun finally gets out of bed. A lovely day to look forward to. No rain, no gales, no fog etc.

 

Today not so gloomy as yesterday good start . Partly cloudy and around 11c and the rain has stopped .

 

Sunny intervals are in order today! Such a contrast to yesterday’s monsoon.

I’m hoping the sky will clear to see tonight’s full moon - a super moon.
